Tea Fellowship Duties
1.Oikos Members on duty on the Sunday concerned (both services) will move out of the Sanctuary after the speaker has come down from the stage. Members on duty to be seated strategically e.g. near the exits, for ease of moving out.
2. The food items are to be taken out from the kitchen; members on duty will regulatethe supply of these items from the fresh trays that are kept behind/beneath the serving points. Ensure that all the trays are empty prior to clearing them.
3. Drinks (coffee, tea, & cold drinks ) are to be poured into paper cups at regular intervals. Ensure that a trash bag is placed in front of each container so that spillage, if any, will drop into the trash bags.
4. Mops and rags/serviettes must be on standby at all times and all spillage must be cleaned up immediately.
5. Trash bins are placed strategically for disposal of used paper cups, remnant food items, etc.
6. When trash bins are full, members on duty are to replace trash bags as appropriate.
7. Trolleys are available but must be kept out of sight (preferably in the kitchen area ) until being used.
8. At the end of serving, members on duty are to clean all the tables and ensure that any dirty part of the floor of Gideon Hall is swept and mopped.
9 . Remnant drinks (coffee, tea, etc) are to be poured away and the containers washed and cleaned (including the flasks & cups in the Hospitality Room) in the kitchen area. Ensure that the kitchen area is clean and any food particles are to be removed and disposed off. This is applicable for the Oikos responsible for the 10.30am Service.
10. All trash bags (properly tied up) are to be disposed off at the rubbish disposal area next to the main gate.
11. Please politely encourage members to move away from food/drink tables after they have taken their items so that others can move in.
