About 2 years after a major operation in 1998, I began to suffer from urge incontinence. Whenever there was an urge to empty my bladder, I literally had to run for the toilet or I would wet myself. I consulted my gynaecologist, who treated me with a range of drugs. These drugs did not really helped me. So after about 2 years, I decided to stop seeing the gyneacologist. I resolved to stop drinking any liquid after 9 pm . Meanwhile, my condition also worsen.

Sometime in September, at a Sunday morning worship, Pastor Tay had a word of knowledge. He asked for members with "urinary tract" problem to go forward to receive the special healing prayer. I responded in faith. That evening, I felt there was an improvement in my condition. Although I prayed for God to heal me completely, I was thankful that my condition improved. The next Sunday, PastorTay enquired about my well being. I replied that I was better. Pastor Tay told me that “better’ was not good enough. He said that there must be complete healing and prayed for my healing again. That evening, I felt more improvement. I did not quite need to run as fast to the toilet as before.

About 2 weeks later, I went to a cell group prayer session. That evening, I was “slained” when the members gathered in a circle to pray. I did not understand unusual sensation in my abdomen when I was “slained”. That night ,I prayed to God to reveal to me what He has been doing in my life. The next morning when I awoke, the very first thought that came into my mind was that GOD HAD HEALED ME!

That morning as I went to the toilet, it suddenly dawned on me that God has indeed healed me of my urge incontinence. I no longer need to run for the toilet. I can choose to drink any amount of water at any time at night, without having to race to the toilet even now and then. I am now also able to hold a full bladder before I feel the urge to empty it – something I could not do before the healing.

I want to thank and praise God for healing me. God is my Healer!
