| In late February 2002, about one month before the Easter Sunday Service at Bethesda
Cathedral on 31 March, I went to the clinic for my
regular check-up. My doctor (by the name of Dr Heng)
suggested that I did a test on my eyes. He took an
X-ray of my eyes and found a spot on my right eye.
He told me this was something serious and eventually
I would not be able to see with my right eye. This
came as a shock to me, but still I was at peace in
my heart, knowing that God would be able to heal me.
One month later, at the Easter Sunday Service, Pastor Tay Cheng Kee gave an altar
call for those who needed a healing touch from the
Lord to go to the altar area. A big crowd of people
responded. Because of the large number of people who
went forward, I decided to remain at my seat, believing
that God could still heal me there. When Pastor Tay
prayed a general prayer for all those who responded
to the altar call, I got up from my seat and lifted
up my hands to receive my healing in faith. At the
same time, I also prayed to God to heal me.
X-ray of right eyeball Two days
later, on 2 April 2002, I went back to the clinic for
a further check-up. Dr Heng took another X-ray of my
eyes. When the results came out, he told me that the
spot on my right eye was no longer there! I was overjoyed
when I heard this and immediately shouted out “Jesus
has healed me!” Praise the Lord!
