 My health began to deteriorate at the start of 2002. I was going to the doctor at least once a fort-night, and suffered from persistent flu-like symptoms that just wouldn’t go away. I did all the doctor instructed - controlled my diet, exercised regularly and avoided crowded places. But still my condition did not improve.
I have also sought the opinion of other doctors and specialists, and must have taken more than a dozen different types of antibiotics and medication.
By then, my grades in school began to get affected as I could not concentrate. I felt very frustrated and was worried.
One Wednesday afternoon, I decided to go to Bethesda Cathedral, to ask Pastor Tay to pray for me. After I told him of my illness and the constant runny nose, he placed his hand on me and asked for Jesus to heal me.
At the time, my nose was dripping profusely, and I was having a very bad flu. But guess what? Our gracious and merciful God heard Pastor Tay’s prayer and began to heal me.
The next day, I felt so much better. The nose wasn’t blocked anymore, and I knew that the Lord had touched me. I stopped the medication and, by the second day, I was fully recovered.
No more flu, no more runny nose! Ours is a great God! He touched me, took away my sickness and has made me well. Praise the Lord! |
